GIOVANNI LEUZZI January 19, 1939 - November 12, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Giovanni on November 12, 2015 age 76 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Antonia; son, Joe (Elizabeth); grandsons, Gianfranco and Michele; daughter, Rosa (Rocco) Cetta. Dad was born in 1939 in Melicucca Reggio Calabria Italy. In 1963 with the help from his cousins the Zirinos, he immigrated to Canada where he built a beautiful life with his wife and children. Mom and Dad spent 45 beautiful years together. They were best friends who cherished every moment they had together. Giovanni was a hard working man who devoted his life to his family. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and he enjoyed watching them grow. To our extended family, the Zirinos, Princis, Barones, Bicudos, Gelardis, Violis, Demarchis, Militanos and Csutas, Dad loved you all very much. Our family would like to express our deepest thanks to Dr. Penner, Dr. Johnston and Dr. McTaggart, nurses and staff at CancerCare and Health Sciences Centre. You truly are special people. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Sam Argenziano on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Condolences will be offered one hour prior to the Mass. Entombment in Holy Angel Mausoleum, #1 Green Acres Lane (Hwy. #1 East R.M. of Springfield) Active Pallbearers are Joe Zirino, Carmen Zirino, Aurelio Barone, Saverio Violi, Ralph Gelardi, and Gianfranco Leuzzi.
