DONALDA LAURA (Roy) ABRAMS February 17, 1919 - November 9, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, at Beacon Hill Lodge, in Winnipeg, MB in the early hours of Monday, November 9, 2015 at age of 96 years. Remaining to forever cherish Donna's memory are her two daughters-in-law, Lilian Elizabeth Buckmire and Inez Myrtle Buckmire, five grandchildren, Donna Marie, Richard, Robert, Tammy and Debbie, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Augistine and Marie Roy, two husbands, Joseph C. Buckmire and Morris Abrams, two sons Robert John Buckmire and James Joseph Buckmire. Donna was born in Somerset, Manitoba on February 7, 1919. She lived with elegance and charm, a world traveler, love to socialize, playing cards with her friend, and loved life. The family is grateful to Germaine Wall and Irene DeGagne for their support and love for our grandmother. The family would also like to thank the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for their continued efforts and care for Donna. As per Donalda's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
