It's been 9 years and I wish I could tell you all the life and Job experience I have now, I remember the day you died although not that well now. It hurts to know I'll never be able to talk to you and ask for help or advice. I miss u -Kyle (Punk) - Posted by: Kyle Woodford (Son) on: Mar 27, 2025

My deepest condolences to the family. I met Orv when my husband ran in the 2011 Provincial Election. Orv shared an office with us and another political friend. He was always interesting to be around. I learnt lots from Orv during our coffee visits. He was quiet but when he did have something to say it was good. He loved to work with others to better the lives of indigenous people. I will miss him. May you encourage us from above along with all our ancestors. - Posted by: Deanna Ratt (Personal friend) on: Nov 18, 2015

Hey Orv. I am deeply saddened because you left so suddenly. What makes losing you harder is the fact that you left just a week before the one year mark of our loss of George. Our conversations were always interesting. I enjoyed your company. You were always polite, kind and soft spoken. The last time I saw you, you were helping me move. You were glad to get out and give me a helping hand, as you were always glad to help everyone any way you were able. I'm going to miss you cuz. Rest easy up there and I'm sure you probably got to see George by now, both of you will be missed dearly. - Posted by: Heather (Cousin) on: Nov 17, 2015

My heart is very saddened that you are gone, you were a very good friend to Jay, he will never have one like you ever again. You were a very kind man and loved by many, you always spoke the truth and not what people wanted to hear. Many times you were so sad because you felt lost without your family, your children meant so much. I Thank You for what you taught us, life wasnt about riches and what we had, life was about the fact that we are here everyday to be kind and humble and to open up our hearts to others who might have it more tough than we do. You will truly be missed Orv, Rest easy now for your life here on earth is done. Watch over us from heaven, I am sure you are there already. - Posted by: Shirley Chrusch (friend) on: Nov 17, 2015
