PAUL MICHAEL KALINSKI It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Paul Michael Kalinski at the age of 87 years, on November 20, 2015. Paul was predeceased by his wife Cecilia (Elsie) Kalinski on May 14, 2013. Left to cherish his memory are his children Syd (Anne), Linda Grimolfson, Randy (Darlene), Karen Stefanyshyn, and Terry; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Paul was born on July 29, 1928. Son of the late Mike and Mary Kalinski he is survived by his brothers Joe, Walter and sister Adeline. He married the love of his life on June 14, 1952 and resided in Lockport, MB were they raised their five children. He worked at CN until retirement. During his retirement he helped with the construction for Mars golf course. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved being outdoors, from chopping wood to fishing, golfing, camping and snowmobiling. He and Elsie took many bus trips to the United States. Pallbearers are his sons Syd, Randy, and Terry, grandson Colton, and nephew Darren Kalinski. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, East Selkirk, MB with Fr. John McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow in the East Selkirk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
