Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • Wow! this was a shock to the baseball team. Matt, and Gord brought Kevin out to play ball for the first time and the team was so delighted to have Kevin as a contributing team member and our fondest memory of Kevin was to get him not to pass the base runner ahead of him. He certainly figured that out quickly enough. Kevin was always jovial and a quick study. We are all so blessed to have our paths cross. Kevin was a delightful young man and our sincere condolences to Donna, Gord, Matt, Katie, Tim Hazel and family. Warm wishes from the Team! - Posted by: Alisha Miguez and the baseball team - "Run It Out" (Friend) on: Feb 01, 2016

  • Kevin was the guy who would go the extra mile to help, from fixing a truck to picking apples. He was able to express warmth, love and joy with others, because this is the way he was raised. To the Scharer family, it was because of each of you that he could live abundantly. Breanne, you are the beautiful woman he loved and Mikaela his joy. • Kev, He was fun to work with years ago and always wanted to lend a hand. He loved the thrill of his cars and enjoyed working with them. I never got the privilege to meet his new wife or child but I do know that he cherished them and the life he had. Sorry to hear about this sad loss of life. Kev you'll be missed down here, while your up there burn some rubber for all of us. Condolences to all the family members. - Posted by: David Willkie (Co worker) on: Nov 30, 2015

  • Sorry to hear about your family's loss. It has been quite a journey; one that has brought you even closer and emphasized that in the end it is not material things that are important, but, the love and support of family and friends. Whenever you need a hug I'll be there. Take care. Priya Doodnauth - Posted by: Priya Doodnauth (Friend on Darlene Young) on: Nov 30, 2015
