I first met Ed in 1972 after I returned to Canada from doing a tour in Germany with the Military. My buddy Jim Purcell had a 1932 Chev coupe that he wanted to store for the winter. Ed said "no problem" Ed was restoring a model T Ford Truck at this time. It was talking to Ed about old cars that got me interested in model A"s.I purchased my 1ST model A shortly after that. I still have a model A to this day. I attended many model A club meetings with Ed and his son Terry. The members of the Golden Boy restores club have said there was no finer member and gentleman as Ed. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.God has a model A waiting for you. Happy trails to you and yours. " - Posted by: Frank Scaletta (Model A club member) on: Dec 08, 2015

I enjoyed Ed's company for many years through the antique automobile club and respected his knowledge of cars and dedication to the hobby. He will be missed, but a life well lived. - Posted by: Bryan Norrie (Good friend) on: Dec 05, 2015
