Our deepest condolences to all of Joes family and his son Robert. Joe was a part of our family growing up. To my mother Vittoria he was like her son. His trips to Kamloops in the summer and picking of the fruit in my parents back yard to take back with him to Winnipeg were always a great time of sharing stories and drinking wine. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. - Posted by: Doug and Pierina (Torchia) Nystoruk () on: Dec 11, 2015

Joe cut my hair throughout my entire childhood and adolescence. I remember his friendly smile, the great smells that came out of his shop and his easy conversation. He was like a "father confessor" to me and to my brother (Robert "Bob" Sokalski) during those years when a child has few adult listeners beyond his own parents. Joe was an excellent listener and offered good advice, always with a gentle and kind manner. My sincere condolences to the family. - Posted by: Raymond Sokalski (client) on: Dec 10, 2015
