"it is the things you don't do in life that you regret..." this is so true...., I found out today about Pat's passing.... I had been planning a trip to Churchill in October last year in October for my birthday, it didn't pan out for a couple of reasons, but if I had visited as planned I could have visited with Pat... my condolences to you Bob and the family. Auntie Pat and Uncle Robert always seemed to be on the go and Churchill was always a long way away. Auntie Pat always had amazing energy. She never let anything in life get in her way or more importantly get her down. A year ago I had the great honour of spending a few days with her and Uncle Robert in Vancouver at her sister's place. We had great fun and laughed many times about silly things. I will remember her and that time together always. My heart remains her home and my sincere thoughts go to her amazing family. - Posted by: Penny Dickenson (My dad was Patricia's brother.....I was her neice) on: Dec 23, 2015

Extending deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Bob and the Penwarden family on Pat's passing. Pat was a valued long term volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society. I had the pleasure of traveling to Churchill in 2006! for years I would say 'one day I'd like to visit' on one occasion Pat said 'oh you say that all the time' 'okay how do I get there'? 'Well you drive to Thompson and park your car in McCready's campground!' Well we did exactly as instructed and had a wonderful and memorable time! Although we didn't chat often over the last few years I will miss our chats! Pat so fiercely dedicated to the community - she has left a lasting legacy and will be missed! RIP dear friend!
