GLADYS KATHLEEN MANNESS (nee HAVERSTICK) DATE AND TIME CORRECTION Mom passed away peacefully on December 27, 2015, at Riverview Personal Care Home, at the age of 95. A Celebration of Mom's life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Red Cross, Riverview Health Centre Foundation or a charity of your choice. Longer obituary ran Wednesday, December 30, 2015.   • Aunt Gladys has been an important part of my life since my birth 72 years ago. While she was strong in her beliefs and opinions, she was always keen to hear mine and enjoyed the discussion which followed. A great chef, a keen and able hostess, a loving aunt and an all around interesting person. I am the better for having her in my life.   • Aunt Gladys was a strong woman who was very proud of her family. She was also a pillar of the community. will always remember the big family dinners at her and Uncle Don's home.
