SARA DYCK With family at her bedside on January 6, 2016, Sara Dyck, aged 83, passed away at Donwood Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, John Dyck; parents John and Maria Klassen (nee Froese); five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her son Doug (Leslie), three grandchildren, Megan (Aaron), Jordyn and Christian; two great-grandsons Emmett and Jameson; four siblings Henry, Jessie, Andy and Abe, as well as numerous other relatives and in-laws. Sally retired as an accomplished seamstress from Crown Cap in Winnipeg after many years of service, but continued working tirelessly for many years as a remarkable homemaker. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with viewing a half hour prior to service time. A coffee only reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre with interment to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Froese Family Cemetery in Altona. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Donwood staff for their ongoing support and care as well as a special thank you to Harold and Marilyn Lepp and others who committed to regular visits.
