Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADELE O'NEILL (nee WOOLWARD) April 30, 1952 - January 10, 2016 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Adele O'Neill on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the age of 63 in Calgary, Alberta. She was our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Adele is survived by her loving husband Allan, her children, Patrick and Christina (Jason), her stepson Kevin (Verna), and her grandchildren, Noah, Riley, Evyn, Matthew and Keely. Adele is also survived by her brothers, Larry (Donna), Blair and Neil, along with many nieces and nephews. Adele was predeceased by her parents Charles and Fabiola (Ola) Woolward. Adele was born in Montreal on April 30, 1952 and lived there until the age of 17 when she moved to Winnipeg to live with her Uncle Lorne and Auntie Martha. Adele later met her husband there whom she married on December 13, 1980. They spent 35 years together raising their family and doing what Adele loved most; being with people whether it be at a church function, bowling, golfing, BINGO or any other event that brought people together to have a good time. After retirement, they enjoyed the winter months in Arizona where Adele would continue to do these various activities with her many friends. Adele adored her grandbabies and looked forward to bringing them the latest treasure she had found for them - whether it be an outfit, toy or some other trinket that she thought they would love. Adele had an amazing sense of humour with a wonderful ability to laugh at herself. She loved being surrounded by people and enjoyed being the life of the party. She will truly be missed by anyone who knew her loving and happy spirit. We would like to thank the many Calgary emergency response personnel who did everything they could to help. Funeral service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 250 Burrin Avenue on Tuesday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Dominic Yuen officiating and Father Michael Wollbaum as co-celebrant. In lieu of donations, please give someone a hug and a smile. "Remember sadness is always temporary. This, too, shall pass." Dear Allan, We were so shocked and saddened to hear our precious friend Adele had passed. We so enjoyed seeing the two of you in Victoria and spending a evening of dinner and laughter. It was so easy to pick up where we left off because Adele and yourself are just the most gentle people, and so much fun to be around. I was so glad to connect with her on facebook and follow your adventures together. I will miss her larger than life personality, smile and infectious giggle. She loved life to the fullest. She adored you, Christina, Patrick, Kevin, and her grand babies even more. Please keep in touch and know our memories we will cherish. I know you moved in August and I didn't get your new address or telephone number. Please when you have time could you e-mail it to me. debmedwid@outlook.com Love you Forever Adele, I am a better person for having had you in my life. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
