Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • Bernie, my heart goes out to you. This month has been horrific for you, losing a sister, a son, a brother-in-law. Please know that I'm thinking of you with prayers. - Posted by: MaryAnne Zacharias (friend) on: Jan 27, 2016

  • Greg and I worked a number of years together in the school division. He had a quick wit and a sensibility in any situation. Greg just "got it". Thanks for all the great recipes...Rest in peace - Posted by: janie ireton (co-worker - PTSD) on: Jan 23, 2016

  • Since High School, Greg's music compilations still live on with many of us. I'll miss the pleasure of Greg's wonderful gentle conversation and the sharing of a nice single malt. So many will miss you Greg but we will definitely not forget you. - Posted by: Mark Zachanowich (Friend) on: Jan 22, 2016

  • It was always a pleasure to work with Greg here at Vincent Massey Collegiate. He was a fun-loving gentleman who worked hard with his students to make sure they had a good day. When I think of Greg I have to smile because he always had something amusing and uplifting to say about the many challenging situations that occur when one is working with young people. He always told me stories about his son. He was so proud of Branden and all he has accomplished. It will be hard to carry on without Greg, but hopefully the pain of loss in our hearts can be eased by remembering the love and dedication he had for his wonderful family. - Posted by: Jennfier Glass (friend and co-worker) on: Jan 21, 2016

  • Dearest Branden - our hearts go out to you knowing the pain you are feeling right now. Please know, deep down, that your dad is watching you and has instilled all the good things that he was into you. I watched you grow up and your dad was always there for you. He was a great dad! We are thinking about you - Ruth, Mark and Patrick. - Posted by: Ruth Bezys (Old Winderemere Neighbour) on: Jan 21, 2016

  • I met Greg through my (now) husband. I was immediately struck by his gentle and compassionate manner, and over the years, this first impression solidified. I will remember him as a stellar human being. He has left this earth too young. RIP, dear Greg. - Posted by: Carrie Smallwood (friend) on: Jan 20, 2016
