Born: Jun 22, 1935
Date of Passing: Jan 15, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUISE DUBECK (nee COTTES) June 22, 1935 - January 15, 2016 It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Louise Dubeck, on January 15, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Louise leaves to mourn her passing her children: Debbie (husband Dennis Wisheranko), Doug (wife Jody, nee Hannesson), Sandy Dubeck-Manulak (Bruce McIntyre) and Bruce (Michelle Wiebe). Louise will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her four sisters Alice, Helen, Myrna and Anna, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Louise was predeceased by husband Steve Dubeck, parents John and Nellie Cottes, sister Rose, and infant brother Joseph. Louise was born in Grandview, MB and resided in Transcona for most of her adult life, raising a family and working as a self-employed hairstylist at Louise's Beauty Salon and Kelvin Beauty Salon. During their 50-year marriage, Steve and Louise travelled the world and, upon retirement, enjoyed wintering in Arizona and spending summers at their cottage in Poplar Bay, Lac du Bonnet. After Steve's passing, Louise continued to live life to the fullest - travelling with friends and caring for her family. Together again forever, Steve and Louise will continue their love story and share many more adventures. In keeping with Louise's wishes, a private memorial service has taken place with Fr. Mark Gnutel officiating. Interment at Transcona Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in Louise's honour to a charity of their choice. Rest in peace. We love you. Funeral Arrangements in Care of: Wheeler Funeral Home Cemetery & Crematorium 1800 Day Street - 204-224-1525 Please sign the book of memories at www.wheelerfuneral.com
