LAMONT OWEN ASHAM Peacefully on January 18, 2016 Lamont passed away in Riverview Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Born October 6, 1935 at Kinosota, Manitoba. Survived by his Everloving wife Madeleine and his children Deborah Asham, Teresa Marsch (Curtis). Rene Flamand (Mary-Ann), Marlene Barnsdale, Farrell Flamand (Cheryl), Darryl Flamand, Tracey Weibe (Michael), 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Perkin. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Edward Barnsdale in 1985, his parents Gilbert and Harriet Asham, sister Marybelle Tanner and her husband Charlie, brother Clarence and his wife Joyce and also by his nephew Dennis Tanner. He was employed by Heat and Frost Insulator and a member of Local 99. Urn Bearers are Judy and Brian Hildebrant. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their loving care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 160-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
