VERNA LOUISE SPENCE (nee KIRKNESS) May 1, 1932 January 21, 2016 It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Verna Louise Spence (nee Kirkness), announce her passing on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Peguis Personal Care Home. Verna was predeceased by her husband Lawson Spence in 1998. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Conrad Kirkness, Bob Spence, Dale Spence, June (Bruce) Montour, Jeff (Terina) Spence and Tim Spence; 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and one surviving sister Barbara (Bill) Karatchuk. Evening service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, January 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. both services will be held at the Peguis Church, Peguis, MB. Interment to follow at the St. Peter's Anglican church in Peguis, MB. The family wish to thank the staff at the Peguis Personal Care Home for caring for our mother during her stay there.
