MARY GOROWSKI Mary Gorowski passed away peacefully on January 25, 2016. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Bernie, daughter-in-law Lucille and her grandchildren and their families. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was devoted to her faith at St. Mary's Cathedral. She had a passion for gardening, cooking and mostly her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Growing up Granny was always around the farm, full of life and laughter. She was always busy be it in the garden, making her world famous perogies, or sitting down to have a discussion with her grandchildren, Papere, and often with myself. I will never forget Granny's laugh it was so genuine, infectious, and often heard in the background when I would visit. Granny always had this glow, she would tell you what she thought, offered her perspective, and sometimes give you a scolding when it was deserved, and yes those occasions may or may not have occurred. Granny was always full of life and smiles. She will be missed by many that crossed her path and we are very lucky people to have known her.
