ALEXANDER JAMES It is with great sorrow that the family of Alexander James announce his passing on January 26, 2016, at the age of 95 years. Alexander was born on December 16, 1920 in Pine River, Manitoba. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Linley (Maria) and Laurie (Cindy), and loving grandchildren Brianna and Dalayna. Alexander enjoyed a long career as a Carpenter / Brick Layer at Canadian National Railway. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff at the River East Personal Care Home, the staff at Concordia Village and the doctors and nurses at Concordia Hospital. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 400 Day Street and the interment to follow at the Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Road. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day Street. Interment will follow in the Transcona Cemetery.
