SERAPIO DEGRAS October 6, 1920 - January 26, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Serapio Degras on January 26, 2016 at Seven Oaks General Hospital, aged 95 years. Serapio was predeceased by his wife Monica; sons Armando and Ricardo; daughter Annabel. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Norma, Nelia, Nilda (Bernardo), Bert (Amy), Marilou, Luisito (Feliza), Rosa (Ariel), Linda (Virgilio), Nimfa (Angelito), Nerissa (Ruben), and Serapio Jr.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews around the world. He will be remembered for his kindness, compassion and loving care for all the members of his family. We would like to thank all the staff on 5th Floor at Grace Hospital for their effort, compassion and care especially to Dr. George and Dr. Joshua. Viewing/Lamay will commence at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church., 748 Keewatin St., Winnipeg, MB. Rev. Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. celebrant. Interment at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. A reception for family and friends will follow at the Pampanga Restaurant, 349 Henry Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
