HEATHER MAE RUDGE (née GREEN) April 28, 1948 - January 30, 2016 It is with our deepest regret that we announce the passing of Heather Mae Rudge. For several years, her faith carried her through a long battle with cancer; however, on January 30, 2016, her body succumbed to the disease. She leaves behind her son Kyle, his wife Marilyn, and grandchildren Kianna and Ender; her son Brian, his wife Noella, and grandchildren Julian and Jered; several brothers and sisters; and mother, Sheila Green. Heather was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard. Heather's love language was always the giving of gifts. She spent countless hours prepping, planning, and acquiring just the right gift to show those around her how much they were loved. Christmas and birthdays just won't be the same without her, but for the last 67 years her family, her friends, and even passing acquaintances had one of the greatest gifts in her. We will miss you. A celebration of Heather's life will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverwood Church Community, 257 Riverton Avenue, Winnipeg MB. www.seasonsfunerals.ca

  • So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, Brian, Kyle and families. Your Mom was so much fun. I remember sharing many good times with her, sitting in the gazebo in Gillam. She was a very kind woman and will be missed by many. Our most sincere sympathies to you all.
