The McMurchy family would always welcome me when I came over from down the road. Even though they had a big family there was always room for more. Years later it was always a pleasure to meet up with them at auction sales. Good people, good memories. - Posted by: Debbie Okolita (Plischke) (neighbour in the mid 60's) on: Feb 17, 2016

We were surprised and saddened at hearing of the sudden passing of Phyllis. Over the forty years that we have been acquainted, she has always been very friendly and seemed to look at the bright side of life. We are sure that the many pleasant memories that the family has of her, will help them through this sad time. Most sincerely, Shirley & Clare - Posted by: Clare & Shirley Moster (Neighbor & friend) on: Feb 16, 2016

I was sorry to read about Phyllis passing - We had not kept in contact through the years but I have good memories of our early years - skating, sliding on the snow hill in Aisman's yard in the winter, her big cat, and fun things we did when we were going to school along with Eileen Massey and other neighborhood kids. My sincere condolences to sister, Doreen, and all of the family. - Posted by: Joyce Fore (nee Barnson) (Childhood friend) on: Feb 16, 2016
