NANCY TAYLOR Nancy's wellness journey has reached the end of the road. She has left the pain behind, broken out of her earthly cocoon, stretched out her wings and is soaring above the road on outstretched wings. The love she had for others and the outpouring of the love that people returned is now the wind beneath those wings. Although we cannot immediately follow her, she is thermalling with the eagles and angels to new heights buoyed by the warmth of our love. Nancy (Nana) is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Geoff, two lovely daughters Stefani Clark (Bryan, Nova, Maverick), Kimberly McNeil (Bryan, Dylan, Owen), elder brother Greg (Judy, Christine, Alison). She is now reuniting with her mother (Mildred) and father (William Parfitt) and other loved ones. She also has a large biological and extended family that she loved. A memorial reception and a celebration of Nancy's love and life (wine, chips, sandwiches and dainties) will be held on February 21, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. She will be missed but never forgotten as each time we see an eagle we will be reminded of her. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to one of Nancy's favorite charities: Siloam Mission, Salvation Army or CancerCare. I'm very saddened by this new. Nancy was a beautiful person that loved me for many years like my own mother. She was alway very kind and compassionate, even when she had reason not to be. I will forever have nothing but fond memories of her, her family and the joy we shared. Rest well Nancy. - Posted by: Mattew Robinson (Friend) on: Feb 29, 2016

Kim and Family I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I have precious memories of sleepovers at you place. I have great memories of how your mom included me in the family just like another daughter. Geoff and family. We are so sorry to hear about Nancy. We hadn't seen you out for your daily walks for sometime, but assumed it was because of the weather. Nancy always offered such a friendly, funny chat when we saw her. It has been an exhausting and difficult time for all you, and I'm sure you are relieved she is at peace now. Thinking about all you.
