Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTY JAN HALL (nee O'DOWDA) December 24, 1972 - Winnipeg, Manitoba February 17, 2016 - Calgary, Alberta On Wednesday, February 17, 2016 our kind, loving, funny, charismatic, energetic, and beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, became an angel. Her belly laugh and her infectious smile will be etched in our memories forever. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to this bright light who shone upon all who had the good fortune to know her. Christy is survived by her son Michael Ellchuk; parents Michael (Leah) O'Dowda and Wendy (Ian MacIver) McLay; grandparents Jean and Joe Ursuegui; siblings Kerry Schmidt (Paul Janzen), Tracy (Keith) LaBossiere, Brendan O'Dowda, Colin O'Dowda, and Conner O'Dowda; nieces and nephews Robynne, Melanie, Emma, Ryley, Sebastian; and her dog Chloe. A Celebration of Christy's Life will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Canad Inns Polo Park, Ambassador Room 1, 1405 St. Matthews Ave. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com In living memory of Christy Hall, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Park Memorial. I am shocked and saddened to hear about Christy's passing. We worked together for several years in the last decade and I can't remember a time when it was not a true pleasure. The world is darker without her. I never met Michael but I heard lots of great things about him.
