GEORGES SPELIERS It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Georges Speliers on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 73 years after a battle with lung cancer. Georges is survived by his son Jacques (Susan); daughter Christine; grandchildren, Crystal, Bethany, Jordan, Faith, Jean-Luc, Alexa; and six great-grandchildren; as well as family in Belgium and extended family in England. We would like to thank family and friends for all the support and prayers, as well as the staff at Manoir de la Cathedrale and Riverview Health Centre who have made the last few months easier to handle as they went above and beyond caring for dad and our family. A funeral service celebrating Georges life will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street, with viewing one our prior. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Georges may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J.
