Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET MAY SCOTT (nee HAM) June 17, 1925 March 07, 2016 We are all saddened to announce the passing of our Mom, Violet May Scott, at home on Monday, March 7, 2016. She is survived by her children, daughter Barbara (Rick); and sons Allan (Diane), David (Christine) and Brian (Mona); she also has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William; her parents; and her brothers and sisters. Mom loved her bingo and made many lifelong friends there, one of them being Pauline who continued to enjoy each other's company with their weekly visits every Sunday to watch their favorite show "Lawrence Welk" at mom's house. We would like to thank Joanne and all the other home careworkers who took such great care of Mom for the past eight years and also the many volunteers from Meals on Wheels. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Rest in Peace, Mom. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Scott's passing. I was fortunate enough to deliver meals on wheels to her on Saturdays. Auntie Violet will be sadly missed. I am so glad we did get to visit her the past few summers that we were in Manitoba. She was one of my favourite aunts. I wish we could attend the service to see all the cousins, unfortunately, we are not able to attend. I hope to keep in touch with family in the future. Thinking of everyone.
