Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNESTOR KELEBAY May 3, 1956 - March 5, 2016 Suddenly and unexpectedly, Nestor passed away on March 5, 2016 at the age of 59. He was born in Selkirk, Manitoba on May 3, 1956 and grew up in Selkirk. Upon completion of grade 12, he was awarded the Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Company scholarship to pursue his studies in mechanical engineering. Having graduated on the Dean's Honour List as a mechanical engineer, Nestor worked for Texaco as a reservoir engineer in Calgary and Edmonton for several years. Upon his return to Winnipeg, he purchased and operated an apartment building. Nestor was predeceased by his father, Stephan; and is survived by his beloved mother, Lena; and his two sisters, Mardi (Larry) Baydak and Patricia Clayton. The lights of his life were Patricia's two sons, Blair (Aynsley) and Kevin (Kylee). He loved those boys with his whole heart and soul, and rejoiced over their successes and accomplishments. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. Prayers will be sung at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, on Thursday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 115 McGregor Street, on Friday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation to a charity of their choice is invited to do so. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL (204)956-2193
