BRUCE ALFRED BLOCKER 1947 - 2016 Bruce lost his fight with Lymphoma on March 6, 2016, at the age of 68. As heart wrenching as it was, he died peacefully and on his own terms, surrounded by his family and close friends and lots of love. Missing him forever are his wife, Debbie; daughter Kelly and husband Marcello Rama; daughter Jennifer Blocker and grandchildren Brandon, Danny and Brittany; son Courtney Blocker, wife Melissa and granddaughter Milla; sister Bev, husband Erny Yakubicka and niece and nephews Paul, Dawn, Dean, Ryan and Dave; sister-in-law Cathy and husband Bob Stewart; and his adopted son Ryan and wife Adrian Wiebe. Bruce's life passion was working on, and riding motorcycles. Mechanic extraordinaire, in Winnipeg and Kelowna, Bruce was an incredibly talented man and mentor. His expertise and attention to detail has left a lasting impression on many people's' lives. He truly felt blessed and proud to be part of the Redline Cycle family. As Bruce wished, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, www.bccancerfoundation.com. Take that final ride Bruce, your tank is full and your friends are waiting. Keep on riding that open road. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My brother and I both bought beemers from Bruce in Wpg. back in the 80's. Got to know him a little bit. Great guy. A very knowledgeable, down to earth dude. I hope he's riding that beautiful hi-way. - Posted by: Timothy Kaye (Customer/acquaintance) on: Mar 27, 2025

  • It was nice seeing you again in Kelowna when Wally and I passed through a few years ago. Our condolences to the family. If you have a celebration of life in Winnipeg let us know. I am in Calgary Wally (no computer)is near Winnipeg and Don Murray is in Chase, we would all try to be there as well as many more. - Posted by: Bob Spector & Wally Wulff (Friends) on: Mar 15, 2016

  • Bruce, you will be remembered as a good man, a great rider, & a great mechanic. We had many a laugh together, and could remember our motorcycle adventures with a huge chuckle. The trips were always exciting. As said before the older I get the faster I was! Ride on Bruce, I hear there's no speed limits up there, fast corners and eternal sunny days! - Posted by: Brian Segal (Friend) on: Mar 14, 2016
