Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID KEHLER June 16, 1938 - March 10, 2016 David Kehler, age 77 years, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 10, 2016, at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB. David was born in Southern Manitoba. His family then moved to the Sommerfeld Mennonite Colony in Paraguay and there David spent his youth and young adulthood. He returned to Manitoba in his 30s and met his loving wife Eva (nee Wiebe). Their 47 years of happy and Godly marriage produced two sons, Peter and John. His last year of life in Grunthal was surrounded by his extended family who helped support him through his struggle with cancer. David is survived by his wife Eva; sons Peter (Angela) and John (Mary-Beth); grandson Tyler and sisters Helen and Sara. In keeping with David's wishes a funeral service celebrating his life will be held at Sommerfeld Church, in New Bothwell, Manitoba, on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mennonite Memorial Gardens, 884 Symington Road South. David is now at rest with God in his Heavenly home.
