Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILY-ANNE GOMPF Lily-Anne Gompf (née Parsonage) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 8, 2016 from a courageous battle with cancer at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Lily was born September 26, 1951 in Baldur, Manitoba. She is survived by her partner Richard Shirray; daughters, Laura (Marc) Bonneville; Sarah (Steve) Melo; Michelle (Jesse) Bagelman; Jenny Gompf (Alvin Heinrichs); step children, Nicole (Glen) Cherlet; Jeff Shirray; grandchildren, Josh, Ajay, Xavier, Savannah, Ramone, Aven, J.J. and baby to come; parents Dorothy and Harry Parsonage; siblings Cherie (Andy) Melvin; Julie (Mel) Wickens; Harold (Jody) Parsonage; Minnie (Robert) Guilford; Fran (Dan) DeRuyck; Jeff (Kelly-Anne) Parsonage; and 22 nieces and nephews; predeceased by her sister Sandy (Morris) DeRuyck. Everyone Lily met, she touched with her sound advice, solid wisdom and big heart. Her 41 year nursing career, which includes 20 years working with First Nations communities, is proof of this. She loved to play and sing music, dance and spend time in the garden. Her Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Memorial Baldur Hall. 142 First Street, Baldur, Manitoba. This obit can also be viewed at: wheelerfuneral.com
