Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTERRANCE (TERRY) GREATREX With his family at his side, Terry Greatrex passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer, at the age of 79 years, on March 12, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife Wilma; sons Ken (Wendy) and Terry Jr.; daughters Laurie (Dan) Lord and Marni (Mario) Blais; six grandchildren Chantal and Amanda Lord, Kristie and Zabrina Blais, and Samantha and Matthew Greatrex. A private family memorial service will be held. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a memorial reception between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Southglen Trailer Park Community Hall, 38 Springwood Drive. I didn't know Terry personally however I'm a good friend of his son Ken and his wife Wendy. Thanks to Terry's love of fishing and hunting I've been the beneficiary of his experience which he passed on to Ken. We've enjoyed many hours of fishing, in particular on a lake I once thought impossible to catch any fish let alone nice quantities of Lake Trout. Obviously sworn to silence on the name of the lake and the presentation used to regularly catch where so few do, I felt it incumbent on me to thank Terry for the wonderful memories he helped create and for raising a great fisherman and hunter in Ken who obviously benefited from his skills.
