LAWRENCE CHARLES HARDING
Born: Jun 26, 1935
Date of Passing: Mar 13, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE CHARLES HARDING On March 13, 2016 an incredible loss was felt "Coast to Coast". This loss was felt more strongly by those who've been fortunate enough to have had their lives touched by Larry. We will all miss his smiling face and gentle soul. Larry was born in Langruth, Manitoba on June 26, 1935. He was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Runa Harding. Larry did not leave this world without a fight. He fought so hard to stay with us. With Larry, family was everything! He will be sorely missed by his wife and soulmate of 60 years, Marlyn; daughters Cathy (Glenn) and Lori (Keith). He loved his grandkids Jason (Brooke) and Missy more than they'll ever know. Larry will also be greatly missed by his supportive sister and brother-in-law Linda and Ken Boughton, niece Pam, nephews Curtis, Kevin, and their families. His many cousins and dear friends were all treasured parts of Larry's life as well. A harder working man you have never met. He was a devoted and valued employee of Johnston Terminals and later MacCosham Inc. He taught us all so much about life, and gave so selflessly. "Yep" was his answer to everything. Doing something constructive was his mantra and always eager to learn something new. He loved his curling days in Transcona, his snowmobiling days and slow pitch ball team at Lee River. Wintering in Texas meant more fun with friends and playing slow pitch there too. If you can take away any lessons from this, it's to live your life to the fullest and share it all with the people you love. A more patient man you would never find. How do you sum up the 80 plus years he spent on this Earth? Well, you just had to be there. As per Larry's wishes there will be no formal services. Our heartfelt thanks to the the special caring nurses and Aids on GH-3 HSC, our Gold Team, Mark, Max and Dr. G. Assuras.
