IRENE MARIE CHARBONNEAU On Thursday, March 17, 2016, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Irene passed away at the age of 79 years, with her family by her side. Irene was born on September 10, 1936 at St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Emery, of 36 years of marriage; parents Marie and Hubert Pinsonneault; and brothers Leo and Jean. She is survived by her sons Gerard (Vicky-Lynn) and Claude (Coralie); grandchildren Ryan (Chelsey), Evan, Ombree, Salynne, and Cole, great-grandson Emery; sisters Eva (Fred), Evelyn (Gaetan), Marcelle (Richard), and nieces and nephews. Irene was raised in St. Agathe, MB. She moved to Winnipeg at the age of 16 to work at St. Boniface Hospital. She married Emery on June 2, 1956, lived in St. Boniface and raised her family. The family would like to thank De La Cathedrale Manor staff with special thanks to Rhonda and Angelle for all their assistance for our mother in the past 15 months, also emergency staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their support on that day. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedrale, 190 de la Cathedrale Ave. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
