Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE (KITTY) BEARD After a long and courageous battle on Saturday, March 19, 2016, Kitty passed away peacefully with her three girls and sisters by her side. She is survived by her daughters, Lauretta, Sherry (Larissa); grandson Darryl; and granddaughters, Ayla and Myelle; sisters, Lenora (Pat), Glenda and stepbrother George. Kitty was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lauretta; brother Larry and her husband Walter. Kitty's journey in life was filled with fun, laughter and joy. Kitty enjoyed travelling, trips to the Casino, playing crib and most of all spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Kitty's Health Care team who in her final days were of the utmost support and provided excellent care. We will celebrate Kitty's life on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fisher Funeral Home, Fisher Branch, Manitoba. A private family burial to take place later in the day. I became friends with Kitty when she moved into 1590 Henderson Hwy. We played many games of cribbage together, which she loved to play. I will miss her smiling face and lovely personality. She was, definitely, 'one-of-a-kind'! At least, now she is at peace and no longer in distress & pain.
