Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYN DENESIUK (PUHACH) Evelyn peacefully passed, on March 21, 2016 at Vista Park Lodge, surrounded by family. Evelyn was the youngest daughter of Mike and Zena Puhach. She was predeceased by her husband Emil Denesiuk, they were married for 63 years at the time of Emil's passing in January 2014. She is survived by her children: son Daniel Denesiuk, granddaughters Dinine Denesiuk, Dana Denesiuk of Bruderheim, AB; daughter Cindy Cameron, husband Rick, granddaughters Jordyn, Carlee, and Rylee of Fargo, ND; sister Mary Sooard, niece Carol and nephew David of Toronto, ON, niece Diane Bulback, and children Curtis and Angela. Evelyn was predeceased by her brother Metro (Mac) Puhach, sister Katie Puhach, sister Anne Meyers, and her parents Mike and Zena Puhach. Evelyn and Emil raised their family in Transcona at their home on Yale Avenue from 1960 til present. Evelyn was active in the church and community. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Vista Park Lodge for taking such wonderful, compassionate care of our mother and grandmother. Viewing and prayers will be held on Wednesday, March 23 at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg, MB. Viewing will start at 6:00 p.m. and prayers will start at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 24 at All Saints Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church, 1500 Day St., Winnipeg at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at Transcona Cemetery, followed by lunch back at All Saints Church Hall.
