BRIAN WAYNE HOURIE With heavy hearts, the family mourns the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle and nephew, Brian Hourie, on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the age of 57 years. Left to cherish his memory his dad, Andrew; siblings, Gordon, Jacqueline, Tom, Yvonne, Don, Sheila (Brian) and Sylvia (Dennis); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends. Brian was predeceased by his mom, Helen; brother, Bruce; sister, Verna; nephew, Daniel; and grandparents William and Daisy Hourie, and Josie and Maude Thomas. Brian was born on July 3, 1958 in Selkirk, MB. He was a hardworking man, always thought of others, and did what he could to help when needed by anyone. He was a tremendous help to Mom and Dad, and still continued to care for Dad after Mom's passing. Brian was a gentle soul, who enjoyed his time with the kids, treating all like they were his own. He will be remembered for his kind heart, big smile and infectious laugh. We will miss him dearly. Honorary pallbearers are his nephews: Earl, Tyrone, Cory, Clem, Adam, Justin, Orry, Tanner, Colton, and Jesse; and close friends, Don (Scrib) Skrepetz, Clayton Viznaugh and his son Liam, Wendy Boulton, Stanford Morrisseau, and cousin Chuck Sinclair.
