ELENI PATSILIS 1944 - 2016 Eleni Patsilis passed away peacefully at the Toronto East General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her loving children Athanasios, Fotios and Chrisoula. She is survived by Gianni, her brother of Winnipeg, as well as her brother Thanassi; and sisters, Eleousa, Rita, and Katina of Greece. Eleni moved to Canada in 1968 and was married to her late husband George in 1969. She was a skilled seamstress, ran a successful Greek restaurant; The White Tower, and worked as a Dental Technician for many years. In keeping with Eleni's wishes, a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Avenue in Winnipeg . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleni's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. Acknowledgement cards can be mailed to: 157 Mortimer Avenue, Toronto, ON M4J 2C4.
