Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEFF DIXON Jeff Dixon passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. He was born and raised in Winnipeg to James (Jim) and Myrtle Dixon on November 27, 1961. He graduated from Technical Vocational High School and went on to further his studies at Red River Community College in the Faculty of Business. Through humble roots as a cook in his first job after high school, Jeff rose through the ranks at Schneider Electric holding multiple roles for a stellar career spanning over 30 years. Jeff was an avid gamer, enjoyed a good 49'ers game as much as he did fishing or off-roading . His love and devotion to family and his beloved dog Duke knew no bounds. Jeff is preceded in death by his beloved brother Gord and parents James and Myrtle. Jeff is survived by his son Kyle (Nina); wife Betty (nee Tokaryk); stepdaughter Denise (Leigh) Manikel; stepson Shaun (Lena) Little; grandson Brock (Manikel); sisters Cheryl (Louie) Dreilich, Karen (Don) Boultbee, as well as nieces, nephews, and inlaws. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 in Selkirk, Manitoba at the Gilbart Funeral Home at 309 Eveline Street. Interment and light reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or CancerCare Manitoba. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
