Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARCEL PAINCHAUD JR. (PONCH) It is with great sadness we wish to announce the sudden passing, on April 29, 2016, of Marcel Painchaud Jr., father, brother, son and loving friend to all in Fannystelle, Manitoba. Born July 29, 1961 to the parents of Marcel Senior and Patricia Painchaud he spent his entire life on the farm that his father and grandfather farmed before him. "Ponch" grew up in the surrounding area farming with his dad and his younger brother Roger. Later on he started his business MVP Contracting Limited. His greatest loves were his family and friends who were always welcomed in his house or his cabin in Lac Du Bonnet, the two places you could always find him. He felt "the best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart" (Helen Keller), this is how Marcel lived his life. Left behind to cherish his memory and mourn his passing are his children Michael and Christopher, the love of his life Kathy Simonson, Jade (Brad Avanthay), Layne, Arlie (whom Marcel considered his family circle), his mother Pat Painchaud, his sisters Monique and Nicole, his brother-in-law Tim Ference, and the mother of his children Paula Martinelli-Painchaud (her parents Michael and Ruth Martinelli). He was predeceased by his father Marcel Senior, his brother Roger, his grandparents Cecile and Andre Painchaud, Bill and Mae Hamel, and his uncles Leonard Lofto and Leo Painchaud. Remaining to hold dear the memories are his aunts Fernande Lofto, Noella (Larry) Rose, Diane (Orval) Bernardin, and Sandy Montague, his cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Fannystelle, MB on Friday, May 6, 2016 with overflow seating at the hall. Eulogy at 2:00 p.m. Funeral services at 2:30 p.m. followed by interment in the Fannystelle Parish Cemetery with Father Lawrence Chibue Agorchukwu and Father Armand Le Gal officiating. Lunch will be held at Elm Creek Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund, Box 67, Fannystelle, Manitoba, R0G 0P0. I have only known Marcel for a couple short years, he leaves a positive impression on people. It was a pleasure to do business with MVP and Marcel, you could tell he was a man of integrity and it was always a pleasure to deal with him, and his positive attitude helped in stressful situations. Marcel will be missed by myself and the group that I work with. - Posted by: Kevin Kaluzny (MVP customer, friend of Marcel) on: May 04, 2016
