KIMBERLEY MARY HUBICK After a long courageous battle with cancer, Kim passed away peacefully on May 4, 2016 at the Selkirk General Hospital, at the age of 56. Left to cherish her memory is her father Ernie and many great friends that are just like family. Kim was predeceased by her mother Pat and her grandparents. Born in Selkirk on November 3, 1959 to Ernie and Pat, Kim was an only child. She started working at SMHC at the age of 17 and retired after 35 years of service. Kim took pride in the cottage she built with her parents in Grand Beach. She planted many flowers and even had a vegetable garden that was shown in the 1999 Manitoba Gardening Magazine. She enjoyed gardening, picking blueberries and mushrooms and also had a great passion for stamping and card-making. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB. with a luncheon will follow. Thank you to the caring staff at Selkirk Hospital and everyone that has been so supportive, during this difficult time. Flowers are gratefully declined.
