Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • I think about you from time to time old friend...it still shocks me....you were always kind to me and I miss being able to chat....no one had as deep a voice and was as good at pool as you! - Posted by: Michael Lewchuk (A friend ) on: May 05, 2023

  • I met Casey through work. I found him to be and interesting guy who was friendly and fun. He knew anyone who came in the door that was related to the local music scene. He often talked of his kids and loved them very much. His presence will be missed at work, he always brightened up the room when he came in. I send my deepest condolences to Casey's family and loved ones and I am truly sorry for the loss to you all, especially to his children. - Posted by: Anson Balkissoon (co-worker) on: May 17, 2016

  • Our sincere condolences go out to the Donaldson family. We met Casey at the Royal George and enjoyed listening to his drumming. He was a talented drummer, an overall great person and very witty. He was very dedicated to his family and loved his dogs. He would have done anything for anyone if you asked him, and was always willing to lend a hand. He will be missed in the Winnipeg music scene. Rest in Peace Casey, see you on the other side! With Sympathy, Vida & Brian Reader - Posted by: Vida & Brian Reader (Friends) on: May 13, 2016

  • Keiran, I'm so very, very sorry for your tragic loss . Know that you're in my heart & prayers. I'm so thankful to have met your Dad & to have watched Father & Daughter perform at Gordie's in recent weeks... & to witness how proud he (& your Mom) were at your first CD release. I'm sure you will also grieve missed future opportunities to shine together again, in song, in this lifetime, but I hope you take solace knowing you'll be playing again one day in an even 'bigger & better' coffee house than Gordie's (hard to believe, but it will exist, 'over there' ;) . God Bless you at this difficult time, Dear. Dee - Posted by: Dee... (Gordie's Coffee House Friend to Keiran.) on: May 09, 2016

  • First off I want to send my condolences to Casey's family. I'm sorry we lost some one so dear to us all. I remember one time when I was about 14 I went to Casey's cabin and it was late at night Casey was chasing me threw the back of the cabin and there was a clothes line from tree to tree. Well Casey ran head on into the clothes line and fell on his arse. That memory will always be with me as one of the unfortunate but funny things I have ever witnessed. He took it like a champ and we laughed for days about it. I miss you Casey. May you rest in peace. See you on the other side. - Posted by: Jason Hudson (Digger) (Friend ) on: May 07, 2016
