WILLIAM CHOLOSKY
Date of Passing: May 21, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM CHOLOSKY With much sadness, Bill's family announces his peaceful passing, after a brief illness, on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Bill was predeceased by his wife Olive, his parents Philip and Helen, and his siblings Michael, Joseph and Jessie and her husband Bill Wynnyk. Bill was also predeceased by his nephew Russell, his uncle Karl, his cousins Walter, Edward, Mike and Joe, his parents-in-law Holman and Kristin Olson, and his niece Marilyn. Bill leaves to mourn and remember him always, his nieces Helen Coslik and Joan Wynnyk, his brother-in-law Holman Olson and his wife Olivia, his brother-in-law Walter, and his nieces and nephews Geir, Joanne, Cynthia, Brent, Blair and June and their families. Bill will also be remembered by his many friends and acquaintances, whom he valued greatly, he so appreciated your regular visits and caring connections, which continued during his recent illness. Bill was a humble man, living simply but with great devotion and compassion: devotion to his wife Olive, to his family, to his grocery store (Quality Store) and his customers and to his community of Selkirk where he was born and resided his entire life. He had compassion to all he met and interacted with. Bill very much appreciated all acts of kindness shown to him, never complained, had an eternally optimistic outlook and philosophy of life and a strong belief in God. Bill always thought of others before himself. He will be forever remembered and sorely missed. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the Selkirk Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Bill will be laid to eternal rest alongside his wife Olive at the Selkirk Lutheran Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Bill would have preferred a donation in his name to a charity of your choice, or that you just come one more time to say good-bye to him at his funeral. Our deepest condolences to the family. Bill was a very kind man and was born in my great grandmother and great grandfathers ( Kandia) house. We moved across from Bill in 2007 but my Uncle and Aunt were friends for many years. We would chat with Bill often. He was an amazing and very kind man. The neighbour hood has lost another great person! R.I.P. Bill and you will now be back with your loving wife Olive!!! - Posted by: Teresa (Wur) and Raymond Macumber (Neighbours) on: May 25, 2016
