PAUL RITCHOT It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our wonderful father, grandfather and brother, Paul Ritchot, aged 74, on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. He will be missed by his children, Brad Ritchot and Tiffany Ritchot-Marsden (Steve); daughter-in-law Marijay Umali; grandchildren, Mai-Lee Ritchot, Cameron Ritchot-Ross, Eric Ritchot, Alixana Marsden and Aiden Ritchot; great-grandson Seth Ritchot; brothers, Art Ritchot and George Ritchot; sister Paulette Campbell (Don); numerous nieces and nephews; relatives; friends; and his companion Anne-Marie Philippot. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Germaine (Lavoie); brother Rene; and wife Carol. Born and raised in St. Boniface, he and Carol raised their own family there. He worked in sales at the Wolseley Mechanical Group (Westburne) for most of his life where he made many lasting friendships. After retirement, he moved to the cottage on Lee River until health concerns prompted a return to Winnipeg. Paul loved meeting people and an outing with him always meant running into someone he knew. He enjoyed fishing, road trips, and, in his later years, yelling BINGO! In keeping with Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street.
