LORRAINE JOYAL Lorraine Theresa Joyal passed away peacefully, Friday, July 15, 2016, at Riverview Health Centre after a lengthy battle with cancer which began in 1999. She was predeceased by her father David, mother Helen, stepmother Pauline, and brother Valentine (Val) Joyal. She will be sadly missed by her brother Dave of Toronto, Eleanor Mulvey and Mary Gulka (Bill) of London, ON. Auntie Lorraine, also called Lola, will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Lorraine spent her entire working career at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Main Branch, Winnipeg, retiring in 1997. She wished to express thanks to her wonderful family for their continual support and all medical staff who helped her over the years. The family especially thanks the nurses, aides and doctors for the loving care that Lorraine received at Riverview Health Centre during her last days. In keeping with Lorraine's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
