PATRICK VINCENT MOWATT March 3, 1968 - July 20, 2016 Pat Mowatt, 48, of Norway House, died on July 20, 2016 at the Tache Centre in Winnipeg. Pat was born on March 3, 1968 in Norway House. He used to say that he wanted to go to Woodstock but couldn't because he was only one year old. His love of blues and classic rock must have begun then. He was an exceptional student throughout school, skipping a grade and graduating at 17. He then took an autobody course in Winnipeg and began his career in Norway House working at Misty Bay Auto. He eventually moved to Winnipeg where he worked for many years in various autobody shops. He was described by one of his bosses once as having exceptional attention to detail'. His quick wit and wicked sense of humour found him many friends and produced many stories - ask anyone who knew him and you'll have a story. Pat was predeceased by his partner (his girl) Yvonne Muswagon, parents Hubert and Ida (Keeper) Mowatt, and his grandparents Peter and Bella Mowatt and Joseph and Christina Keeper. Pat is survived by his sisters, Edie, Arlene (Stan), Lynne, and Judy (Charlie); brothers, Hubert, Joe, Alan (Joan), and Steve; nieces and nephews, Dean, Heather, Kyle, Dylan, Joe, Tim, Jonah, Carly, Kristen, Monique, Arlene, Shade, Nikita, and Zack; buddies, Tracy and April; his friend/brother of many years - Rick Olson, and Debbie, Jason, Summer, Ricki, Sabrina, and so many other relatives and good friends. The family extends a big THANK YOU to the Tache Centre and specifically the staff on 2C for their exceptional care. THANKS to the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital 4U10 for their special care when Pat stayed there. And THANKS to all those who supported Pat throughout his life and his illness. Bless you all. A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Tuesday, July 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church in Norway House. Arrangements Entrusted To: Anderson Family Funeral Home Ashern, MB. 1-866-293-4951

  • My goodness this is quite shocking. I went to school with this brainiac, Pat was very humble and I am grateful that although for a short time because we all go in different directions in our lives that he was my friend. I am also grateful that we did have a hug the last time we met. RIP my dear friend - Posted by: Bonney (friend) on: Jul 23, 2016
