Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND ASSELIN March 1, 1938 July 21, 2016 On Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the age of 78 years, our husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away after a two year battle with cancer. Rolly is survived by his wife of 56 years Doris; son Ron (Judy); daughter Leslie (Roger); grandsons, David (Calan), Paul (Melanie) and Marc; brothers, Lou (Diane) and Roger; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Norm and Doreen Labossiere as well as many good friends. The family wishes to extend a thank you to all the doctors, nurses, palliative home care workers and neighbour Tom for the help they gave Rolly during his illness. In keeping with Rolly's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street.
