REGINALD BERNARDIN Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Portage District General Hospital in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, Mr. Reginald Bernardin of Elie, Manitoba, passed away at the age of 90 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 51 years, Rita (née Alarie); his three children Ben (Nickole), Victor (Janice) and Aline Bernardin; seven grandchildren Kataryna, Josephyne, Abigayle, Gabrielle, Ariane, Thomas and Jennifer; one brother Aime Bernardin; one sister Stella Boily; one sister-in-law Anita Bernardin; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Magloire Bernardin and his mother Jeanne (née Dupuis); brothers Paul (Murielle) Bernardin, Yves Bernardin, Edgar Bernardin, Norman Bernardin, Fr. Denis Bernardin, sisters Berthe (Léon) Breland, Dorothée (Earl) Fossay, Reine Bernardin and Anita (Rene) Gillis. Funeral services will be held in the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in Elie, Manitoba, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Father Michel Nault officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the Elie Parish Cemetery.
