We are very shocked and saddened by this terrible news. We just saw Maryanne and Richard at the Minaki Marina a few weeks ago and talked about possible dinner plans. Maryanne was fully of life and with Richard they were a wonderful couple. Our sincerest condolences, we will miss her dearly! I grew up on Waverley across the street from the Medlands. Knew Maryanne as one of Chris's older sisters, Richard as one of my football coaches. Have lived in Toronto for the past 40 years. Last summer we were at Ash Rapids for dinner and ran into Richard and Maryanne, both incredibly happy. We wish Richard and family (my long time friend, Christopher) all the best through this very difficult period. Dear Richard and Family My heart and prayers are with you at the sudden passing of Maryanne. Saints of God, come to her aid! Hasten to meet her, angels of the Lord! Receive her soul and present her to God the Most High. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Maryanne now rest in peace. Amen. - Posted by: Fr Alan Fogarty SJ (Friend) on: Aug 10, 2016

We are in such shock and sadness over Maryanne's sudden passing. Our hearts go out to Richard and all her family. She was a pleasure to have as a Marina Customer. Always happy although very busy. Always on the go but loved every minute of her life. Last week she was so happy to tell Dave the mechanic they traded the I/O for an outboard. That made his day lol. They were so appreciative of us helping launch their boats as in her words "they weren't very good at it". We will miss her dearly and Richard if we can help you or the family in any way please ask. This is the worst saddest news we've had in a long time. We are stunned. Having moved form Winnipeg two years ago, Cath and I lost touch with Maryanne and Richard, but always held them in high and affectionate regard. Maryanne was a joy to know, to say hi to, to be welcomed by. Cath and are getting married today, the 9th of August in Gibsons BC, and will toast her memory with our small wedding party later today. And Chris, we are so sorry. love Paul Sweatman and Cath Moss. - Posted by: Paul Sweatman () on: Aug 09, 2016
