I have many great memories of Mrs. Gronau such as sewing toys for Doris and me, baking us treats and putting up with our childish antics and crafts activities. May memories like these keep your mother close to your hearts. We are so saddened to hear of Erika's passing... as our down-the-street neighbours for many years, the children in our family and hers were often together (and some of them still are!) :) I well remember her artistic talents, and particularly her artistry with fabric. Those talents, and more, live on in her two accomplished daughters....
