JUDITH LEE ANDERSON (nee JOHNSTON) August 7, 1957 - August 7, 2016 After her brief, but hard battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Judy Anderson, on August 7, 2016 at Riverview Health Centre. At her request, we will be holding a private graveside service. She is survived by her daughters, Tabitha (Shane) and Shari (Joe). Judy had a cherished, but short time with her two grandchildren Alyssa and Mateus. Judy is also survived by her parents Bill and Camille; sisters Barb (Lloyd) and Janice (Richard) and brother Bill (Jill). Judy was predeceased by her sister Susan. Judy was born August 7, 1957. Her favourite place to be was at the family cabin in Moose Lake, MB. She enjoyed crocheting, watching CFL, reading, and spending time with her daughters and the lights of her life, her grandbabies. She was even present during both their births. Judy touched so many lives in such a special way there will be no shortage of fond memories to be passed down to her grandchildren. Judy was the rock and supporter for her daughters and was always there at the drop of a hat. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her hugs which were given so freely, her generous and trusting heart, courageous spirit, and strength beyond measure. Your battle was lost but we hope you are at peace and without pain. You will be unquestionably missed by all who knew you, we love you so much. Thank you for being there, always! In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to CancerCare Manitoba. The family of Judith Lee Anderson wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at CancerCare Manitoba and the staff at Riverview Health Centre. • Mama Judy, I will miss your infectious laugh, your warm hugs, and our long private talks. I will always cherish the memory of us sitting in your car talking while waiting for CAA to show up. That will be one of my fondest memories of you because I feel that is when we really got to know each other. You accepted me without judgement. I love you and miss you. - Joe - Posted by: Joe Faria (Son in-law) on: Aug 11, 2016

  • Judy was a pleasure to work with and I always enjoyed our chats before and after the Winnipeg Blue Bombers had a game. She was an ardent football fan and a proud mother and grandmother.
