JEFF BOUCH Jeff Bouch died on July 29, 2016 at the age of 92. He was a long time resident of Fort Garry. He is survived by Mary, his wife of 64 years; sons, Jim (Genie) of Calgary, Alan (Marielvis) of Winnipeg; grandchildren Danielle (Noel) and Michael (Astrid) of Calgary; Matthew, Nicholas and Jaden of Winnipeg. He is also survived by his sisters, June of Chicago and Ann of Vernon B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. At Jeff's request there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at a later date. www.voyagefuneralhome.com

Jim, Alan & Mrs. Bouch - I am saddened at the loss of your father and husband. Mr. Bouch was always a pleasure to chat with - still physically and mentally active the last time I saw him, a couple of years ago. I fondly remember seeing Mr. B at Tim Horton's on Pembina and he invited me to sit and chat - this would have been in the early 80's with a Federal election at hand. As we are chatting, in walks the PC candidate for Wpg South, Bud Sherman. Sherman starts giving us the sales talk - I tell Sherman that I can't vote for him because I was living in St. Vital. Sherman then turns to Mr. B to ask for his support. Mr. B replies "you guys are all the same - once you are elected, you begin having memory problems. Jim, my deepest sympathy on the recent loss of your father. I will always remember your dad as a very strong, yet gentle man, with a big heart. I have a number of good memories that are warm and bring a smile. From those memories, he lived life to the fullest and has left a wonderful legacy to be proud of.
