Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ROSE O'ROURKE (nee MALLON) It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Margaret O'Rourke on Friday, August 19, 2016. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her children, Thomas (Catherine), Katherine (Yvan) and her children's father Aidan; siblings, Eileen, Josephine, Ann, Winifred, Bernie (Margaret), Arthur, Eugene, Michael and Ronnie (Rosemary); and brothers-in-law, Charlie and Gregory as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Ireland, England and Canada. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, John and Catherine Mallon and siblings; Sally, Kathleen, Geraldine, Jim and John. The youngest of a large and loving family, Mom grew up in Newry, Co. Down, N. Ireland and immigrated to Canada in her early twenties. Mom was known for her great sense of humour, wit, charm and smile; her children were her whole world. Mom loved to sing and dance, she had the best of style and enjoyed connecting with friends and family near and far. Mom listened intently and always knew the right thing to say. She was a beautiful person inside and out, a true lady. "Mom, you will be greatly missed. Rest in peace and mind how you go." A funeral mass celebrating Margaret's life will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Road. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU & CO.
